Synopsis for "The Shadow From the Steeple" This story extends the events from last issue's "Haunter of the Dark" describing how the entity of the Shining Trapezohedron possesses a human body in order to build weapons of mass destruction. Based on the story by Robert Bloch, who wrote the story in response to H.P. Lovecraft's "The Haunter of the Dark" (which, in turn, was in response to Bloch's "Shambler from the Stars").
